Acne is one of the challenging skin problems to solve and not all facial treatments available in the market are suitable for each individual. Instead of trying treatment after treatment, fret not for we have a faster solution. You can now try both light and heat-based treatments through our Lazer Acne Clear Facial, which helps treat acne and acne-based scars using highly advanced technologies.
Light and Heat Energy (LHE) is a non-invasive and non-abrasive treatment, with no downtime and has been clinically proven for safety, efficacy and results. It is also great for sensitive and Asian skin too!
Most light-based technologies, like laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), rely on light energy to effect clinical changes while filtering out the subsequent heat. Filtering out the heat instead of using it, leads to the treatment requiring very high fluences for clinical efficacy.
LHE on the other hand, strikes a balance between both light and heat energy to achieve high clinical efficacy. The use of low fluences enables LHE’s natural fusion of light and heat energy to create a far more efficient photothermal technique, which eliminates the need for skin cooling techniques, simplifying the treatment process and making it more cost effective and result-oriented. Your acne scars will be visibly lighter, with brighter, tighter and radiant skin.
This skin treatment is available at our aesthetics centres.
As the treatment begins, you might feel a build-up of heat causing mild flushing and a warm sensation as each pulse of light is being administered. LHE technology involves sending gentle pulses of light and heat energy deep into skin. The pulsed light and heat energy administered enables it to reach different layers of the skin for acne control. Acne subsides and a healing process begins.
Visible improvements can be seen after 1 session. Generally for the best results, we recommend between 6-10 sessions at weekly intervals before switching to monthly treatments for maintenance.
Though safe for most skin types, those with very dark skin should exercise caution and consult our medi-consultants before proceeding with the treatment, as they may be vulnerable to hyperpigmentation. Our medi-aesthetician will then be alerted to adjust the treatment procedures and settings according to your skin’s condition for the best results.
As LHE technology uses low fluency energy, the possibility of complications is minimized. The treated area may become slightly pink immediately after treatment, but this lasts for only a few hours.
We advise our customers to avoid direct sun exposure, in addition to applying moisturizer regularly. Also, avoid oily and alcohol-based products for at least 24 hours after treatment. We also recommend the use of ClearSK Smoothen Series to maintain and prolong treatment results.
